How to Use the Online Hearing Test

  1. Select your age group from the dropdown menu above.
  2. Put on headphones or use speakers in a quiet environment.
  3. Click the "Start Test" button when you're ready to begin.
  4. Listen carefully for each tone played.
  5. Click "Heard It!" if you can hear the tone, even if it's very faint.
  6. Click "Didn't Hear It" if you can't hear the tone at all.
  7. Repeat steps 4-6 for each frequency tested.
  8. View your results and compare them to the normal hearing range for your age group.
  9. Save or print your results for future reference or to share with a healthcare professional.
